Privacy Policy

Effective 26 July 2026

This policy explains what data Creator Teleprompter collects, what stays only on your device, and who we share things with. The one-line summary: your microphone audio and the video you record never leave your device, and we run no advertising or analytics trackers at all.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Iago Favaro, registered with the Brazilian company registry (CNPJ) under number 56.295.374/0001-36, operating Creator Teleprompter.

For anything privacy-related β€” access, correction, deletion β€” write to the email address at the bottom of this page.

The microphone: audio never leaves your device

When you enable the microphone, the browser hands the sound to the app inside the page itself. What we do with that sound is measure its intensity, many times per second, to decide whether the text moves or waits.

We do not record that audio. We do not transcribe it. We do not send it to any server, ours or anyone else's. There is no speech recognition involved β€” which is exactly why it works in any language.

When you close the tab or stop the microphone, access ends and nothing is left behind.

The camera: video does not leave either

In built-in recording, the camera image is composed with your script and recorded by the browser itself, on your device.

The finished file stays in browser memory until you download it. We do not upload it, keep a copy, or have access to it at any point.

If you close the tab without downloading, the video is gone β€” and not even we can recover it.

Your scripts stay in the browser

Tracks, lessons, blocks and all your reading settings are saved in your browser's local storage, on your device.

They are not sent to our servers. We cannot read, index or use what you write.

That makes them private by construction, and also fragile: clearing browser data erases everything, and we have no backup. Export anything important.

What we actually store

From your account: your email, an internal identifier and, if you sign in with Google, the name and picture Google sends us.

From your subscription: which plan you have and a Stripe customer identifier, so we know whose subscription it is.

We do not store card numbers, CVV or expiry dates. Those go straight to Stripe and never pass through us.

Ordinary server logs, such as IP address and access time, may sit temporarily in our hosting provider's logs for security reasons.

We use no trackers

There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no Hotjar, no heatmaps, no behavioural analytics of any kind.

We do not sell, rent or trade your data with anyone. We do not build advertising profiles of you.

The only things we store in your browser are what the service needs to work: your login session, your language and your scripts.

Who we share with, and why

Supabase β€” stores your account and plan, and handles sign-in. This is where your email and subscription identifier live.

Stripe β€” processes payment. Receives what it needs to charge you and issue a receipt.

Google β€” only if you choose to sign in with a Google account. In that case Google tells us your email and name.

Hosting β€” serves the site's pages and keeps technical access logs.

Each of these receives only the minimum needed to do its job. None of them receives your scripts, your audio or your videos, because that data never reaches us in the first place.

How long we keep things

Account data is kept for as long as the account exists.

If you ask for deletion, we erase the account and the personal data attached to it within 30 days.

Payment records may need to be kept longer to meet tax and accounting obligations, even after the account is deleted. In that case we keep only what the law requires.

Your rights

Under Brazil's LGPD, and under the GDPR if you are in Europe, you can ask for: confirmation that we process your data, access to it, correction of anything wrong, deletion, portability, and information about who we share it with.

To exercise any of these, write to the contact address from the email registered on the account. We reply within 15 days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the ANPD in Brazil, or to your country's data protection authority.

International transfer and changes

Our infrastructure providers may process data outside Brazil, including in the United States and the European Union. By using the service you agree to that transfer, carried out under the safeguards the LGPD requires.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. When the change is significant we email you before it takes effect.
